Part of my job as student assistant in the Visual and Critical Studies department is to design posters for talks sponsored/presented by the department. School is about to start in two weeks and I’ve only just gotten round to posting these designs from the last school year! The department partners with Shannon Broder, who works in the SVA print shop and who used to hold my position when she was still an undergrad, to produce screenprints of the posters in editions of forty. With that in mind, I limit my designs to 2-3 flat colours on coloured paper. I’ve uploaded the original designs (not the screenprinted versions) in chronological order. Click through them below!
